Tried hard to accomodate for my needs and my request.

We went with my brother ,his wife and 2 other persons, appreciated the small group numbers. We were blessed to see all animals on our wish list except Cheetah. It was amazing. Andrew our guide went out of his way to show us animals and teach us about animal behaviour. He has a great deal to organise and manage over the 2 weeks ,he did it well! It was getting a bit hot towards the end of August so July may be a better month. Be prepared to have days of travel from one National Park to the other on dirt roads and plenty of dust. The positive is very few tourists and safari vehicles chasing the animals for viewing. We all agreed it was a great adventure!

Zambezi Rafting

We recently (May 2024) visited Zambia as part of our Southern African tour, my wife was celebrating a big birthday and one of the big bucket list items was the Zambesi White Water Rafting experience. We stayed at the Royal Livingstone Hotel and they had recommend Bundu rafting, what can I say the team (10+) they turned up in a two storey vehicle loaded with all the gear. We were met by Big Ben who was amazing and briefed us on the plan for the day. Ben's crew were amazing and very professional (there's a lot of hard work that goes into getting the kit to the river and back on the truck) we had a safety briefing and a fun learning experience, the trek down and up to the river can look daunting buts its really worth it (and there's no rush at all) so just enjoy the experience.
Ben and the team kept us safe and gave us some great insights regarding the rapids and the river and its wildlife, we asked lots of questions and nothing was too much trouble. Ben managed/steered the boat and impressively made the decent look easy (trust me it takes hard work and years of skill to guide us through the river).
We had the experience we had hoped for and Bundu delivered on all counts!.
At the end of the day we were provided with a lunch and driven back to the hotel, i just wished wed known we would be visiting some of the local villages along the way as we would have loved to offer some sweets of gifts to the beautiful children who lined the streets and waved and smiled and made the last moments of the experience even more special.
Thank you Ben & team and i would highly recommend Livingstone Adventures - we used them for our Heli flight over the falls, River Cruise on the Zambesi and rafting experience - all of which were genuinely brilliant.

Highlights of Zambia

It is our last day in Zambia. We have had a wonderful time and the safari could not have been better.
We have loved the National Parks that we visited as they are all very special in the own way.
We have seen a multitude of animals especially lions but also the Wild Dogs and Leopards plus all the other animals that make up Africa. 
We were very lucky to have Andrew as our driver  he was excellant and what he didn't see wasn't worth seeing.
We wish to thank you for such a great tour and we now look forward to the next part of our holiday with Malawi and Tanzania.

Wonderful safari

Can't recommend Bundu Safaris / Adventure Purists enough. We had a beautiful adventure in Zambia, most importantly because Christa accommodated our specific requests so perfectly. We wanted to stay in only two park areas in 13 days and focus on as many game drives as possible but on a budget. Christa made it happen and made it feel like a luxury trip. She chose 3 different camps: a self catering and two full service camps, each different and delightful in their own way. In the Lower Zambezi, at the self catering camp along the hippo filled river, we had an excellent guide from the area and a cook who turned out marvelous meals including fresh baked bread. At the camps in the South Luangwa, we had lodges with expert drivers, good food and very comfortable accommodations. In all places there lots of leopards, lions, elephants, painted wolves, baboons, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and countless birds to be found in the African bush. Adventure Purists took care of every detail from beginning to end. We were well informed while working out the advance details and expenses. In our experience, they are a very trustworthy and competent company to do busy with. Highly recommend!

TWO THUMBS UP!

We enjoyed a most fabulous safari with Adventure Purist. Christa was very accommodating in customizing the safari to our needs, dates and budget. Jacob was a fantastic game drive guide and went the extra mile in finding all the animals we came to see. And Moses, the chef, cooked the most wonderful meals. All the camps and lodges on this Adventure Purist safari exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend this company for a memorable safari adventure.

Great experience and so much fun and laughs

Wow! The team was great. We were only two people and yet the Bundu team made a plan and we had two extra guides doing to rafting with us. TIP: tell them you want the raft to flip as much as possible. We did it and it was so much fun, even though we got tossed, flipped or launched we felt safe every second of the trip. Extremely professional team and all the guides was great!

6 days safari through Kafue National Park

Incredibly organised, accommodating and helpful
We did a 6 day safari with this group and our guide Andrew and his helper/ our cook Moses were an incredible pair who made our experience unforgettable. They shared their stories, culture, music and knowledge with us. Christa was an incredibly helpful and organised person to deal with who made our whole trip easy and unforgettable. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

Most incredible experience of my life

I was terrified about going white water rafting but I am SO glad I did it. It was absolutely amazing, made more so by the staff, in particular Ayoba. They made me feel very safe
