Half Day and Full Day Canoeing
In a two seater canoe, you will discover hidden channels, wildlife, and bird life, and navigate between many of the islands of the Zambezi River, upstream from the Victoria Falls.
Follow your qualified canoe guide, in search of abundant wildlife! In the dry season (July to November) elephant occasionally come to drink and wallow in the mud. Hippos and crocodiles are always around. Kudu, impala, waterbuck, baboons, warthog are often sighted. Around 350 species of birds have been identified in the region; the wet season (December to April) is particularly good for birding. Our overnight option will give you the true wilderness experience: camp on an island, sleep under the stars and enjoy a scrumptious dinner on a white sandy beach while hippos wallow in the river nearby. Africa at its best!
