28.08.2010 After a long high water season the Zambezi has finally dropped enough for us to start our rafting trips from the boiling pot, right at the base of the Victoria Falls. You can from tomorrow onward raft the best rapids on the planet!!! I always said that if you had tried to build a river specifically for rafting, you would have not come anywhere close to the Zambezi. It is the ultimate rafting river and a trip you must do once in your lifetime... Trips available now are as follow
- Three hours from rapid 1 to rapid 8
- Half day am from rapid 1 to rapid 10
- Half day pm from rapid 10 to rapid 25
- Full day from rapid 1 to rapid 25
- Riverboarding / Surfing
- Multi day rafting trips from one night in the Batoka Gorge up to five day from the falls to lake Kariba.

| 25.06.2010 As water levels constantly change on the Zambezi river, Bundu Adventures purchases new NRS E-180 18ft rafts. These rafts, bigger than the conventional 16ft used since the start of commercial rafting in the early 90s, will improve safety at high water levels, and give the choice for a softer ride at low water levels. We have now three sizes of rafts available to suit everyone at every water level... |

The Kafue is the second largest river in Zambia. It takes its source in the Congo and flows south, across Zambia, before joining the Zambezi near Chirundu, in a 600 miles journey.
It is just before it meets the Zambezi than the Kafue cascades down a steep escarpment, called the Kafue gorge. Nico Chassing, Sam Ward, and Diego Castro, kayaked this incredible whitewatersection in only day !!! |
