Campsites in Livingstone and Victoria Falls area

The ZAMBEZI WATERFRONT is situated approximately four kilometres upstream from the Victoria Falls. The Waterfront offers both camping and chalet accommodation and is set in wonderfully shady gardens on the banks of the Zambezi.

The ADVENTURE VILLAGE is a cluster of 3m x 3m bow tents built on raised platforms, each with a small deck and furnished with proper beds and a light. This village accommodates 40 guests. The site is set amongst large trees in shady surroundings.

Catering for the overland or self-drive market, there are CAMPSITES accommodating 90 guests. Guests staying in the village and the campsites have spotlessly clean ablution blocks, hot and cold showers and toilets.
THE WATERFRONT complex boasts 7 thatched chalets - 3 units overlook the river with the remaining 4 situated in cool, shady wooded areas. The chalets offer standard twin-bed, family and executive rooms each with en-suite bathroom facilities.

There is a central dining complex with stunning views both up and down river, where the spray from the Falls can be clearly seen. A raised wooden deck stretches out over the river and offer dining area and swimming pool. An open bar, restaurant area, reception, travel centre, merchandising shop and Internet café complete the amenities offered.

We say: Great place for camping, situated along the Zambezi river, nice and green, with all facilities, big bar, restaurant, two swimming pools, etc. More for self-drive individuals and groups than backpackers.

Our opinion: Clean, plenty of thick grass for your tent, huge swimming pool, Fawlty Tower is the other backpacker place in town with Jolly Boys. Situated close to all facilities, we recommand Fawlty tower if you are a backpacker looking for a cheap place to stay, and love a chilled atmosphere, and relaxed evenings.
