Chanters Lodge is tucked away in a quiet residential part of Livingstone and is ideal for those looking for something different from a backpackers and something smaller than an hotel! A great place to stay, and handy too, just 10 minutes walk from Livingstone town centre, 10 minutes drive to Livingstone International Airport and 20 minutes drive to the mighty Victoria Falls.

Chanters has 10 rooms all air-conditioned and with bath/shower rooms en suite as well as satellite television. Fridges can be provided and some rooms have fridges standard. The Lodge is able to cater nicely for families with one purpose designed family room and four more that can easily accommodate up to four people sleeping. In addition, 3 luxury double rooms, two pool facing and two singles for the budget traveller.

Of course Chanters will help with visa waivers where possible and free airport transfers are standard.

 

Chanters boasts one of the best known restaurants in Livingstone with a wide variety on the menu and years of experience catering for hungry travellers. There is a well stocked bar with reasonable prices and the garden is a picture of tropical tranquility with a well maintained swimming pool as its feature.

Chanters is able to handle buffet functions for up to 60 people and also to accommodate small meetings.

Chanters is owner managed by one of Zambia's most experienced hoteliers - Richard Chanter the English owner has spent a lifetime in the country and was, in the 80's and 90's Zambia's leading hotelier as General Manager of the then Ridgeway Hotel in Lusaka, now the Holiday Inn.

The staff at Chanters are young, friendly and helpful and ready to go one step extra to please their guests. Chanters is a warm, friendly, professional operation unique of its type in Livingstone. Thoroughly recommended.
